Job summary
Alsco Uniforms is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and maintain large industrial textile processing equipment and facility systems. You will handle electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and boiler-related tasks while following safety rules and procedures.
The role reports to the Chief Engineer, with responsibilities spanning preventive maintenance, daily requests, and emergency repairs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; boiler license or PLC cert preferred.
- Minimum two years maintenance engineering experience with machinery, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting ability in 3-phase 230V systems.
- Experience with reading blueprints and repair procedures.
- PLC programming experience and ability to diagnose problems.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair and maintain industrial processing equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and diagnose problems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
- Read and follow blueprints, schematics and manuals.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with plant personnel and supervise safe operations.
