Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and specialized repairs in a high-volume laundry facility. The role emphasizes safe, cost-effective operation and adherence to environmental and wastewater regulations.

You will document repairs using PM software, troubleshoot automation and control systems, and collaborate with management and operations teams to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent; additional training in plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC, welding, and mechanical systems preferred.
• Boiler operator license (some states) and wastewater certification (some states) are preferred.
• Computerized preventive maintenance systems experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager, Production Management team, and other key operational partners to support facility operations.
• Use a computerized Preventive Maintenance (PM) program daily to document repairs, complete maintenance activities, and respond promptly to equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with an emphasis on automation and control systems.
• Maintain compliance with operational, safety, and environmental requirements by completing safety training, recording and retaining required documentation, supporting wastewater compliance, and maintaining computerized maintenance records.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and infrastructure to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
