Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Maintenance Worker responsible for regular preventative maintenance of large industrial textile processing equipment and facility upkeep. You will assist the Maintenance Technician and Chief Engineer, reporting to the Chief Engineer, while ensuring safe, efficient operations.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, use of power and hand tools, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Have and maintain a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Demonstrate adequate mechanical aptitude and basic math.
• Proficient in the proper use of power and hand tools.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Team player with initiative and pride in work for quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and preventive upkeep on large industrial equipment.
• Assist Maintenance Technician and Chief Engineer; follow instructions and safety rules.
• Drive and pick up parts, transport equipment as needed.
• Support continuous improvement of maintenance processes.
