Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform regular preventative maintenance on large industrial textile processing equipment and to assist the Chief Engineer. This on-site role reports to the Chief Engineer and requires a practical mechanical aptitude.

You will follow safety rules, use power and hand tools, drive to pick up parts as needed, and support other branch personnel. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Demonstrate adequate mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient with power and hand tools.
• Good verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic maintenance duties and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Follow instructions and established guidelines.
• Assist in problem resolution to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety rules and procedures.
• Drive to procure parts and transport equipment as needed.
