Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform regular preventative maintenance on large textile processing equipment and to assist the Chief Engineer.

You will monitor oil levels, troubleshoot, operate power tools, and support safety and process improvements while coordinating with plant personnel.

This is a full‑time, non‑exempt role requiring a valid driver's license and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Must have adequate mechanical aptitude and be proficient with power and hand tools.
• Good verbal and written communication in English; ability to follow directions.
• Team-oriented with initiative and pride in quality work.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and monitor oil levels.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on grease fittings, lint traps, and related equipment.
• Assist in problem resolution to minimize downtime and improve processes.
• Follow safety rules and job instructions; comply with laws and company policies.
