Job summary

Oatey, located in Omaha, NE, seeks a production maintenance technician to sustain and improve production lines and respond to preventive maintenance requests. The role focuses on reducing downtime and contributing to the plant's OEE metrics.

Responsibilities include repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, installing equipment, and supporting changeovers. Safety-compliant, detail-oriented team player with strong communication is essential for success.

Qualifications

Minimum two (2) years of production maintenance experience.
HazMat 24-hour refresher completed and procedures followed.
Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Able to troubleshoot PLC, digital electronic and electrical devices.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical PLC systems with minimal supervision.
Works in a team environment and supports problem-solving operations.
Performs Preventative Maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Installs equipment and components such as motors, pumps, and compressors.
Provides maintenance oversight during changeovers and setups.
Uses hand and power tools and measuring instruments.
Supports Lean Manufacturing goals and 6S processes.
Develops relationships with production teams.
Adheres to safety guidelines and respirator-fit readiness.
Performs other duties as assigned.
