Job summary

Oatey is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support and sustain production equipment across lines. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs, and install components to minimize downtime while upholding safety standards.

You will work in a team, manage changeovers, and engage with production teams to optimize equipment reliability. A high school diploma and HazMat readiness are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HazMat training refresher completed after hire.
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and completes repairs of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical PLC related systems and equipment without supervision; complex repairs with minimal oversight.
• Works in a team environment and participates in departmental problem solving.
• Processes and completes Preventative Maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Installs equipment and components such as motors, pumps, and compressors.
• Responds to production support calls and provides maintenance oversight during changeovers and setups.
• Uses a variety of hand and power tools.
• Supports Lean Manufacturing goals, including 6S and strong communication with production teams.
• Develops relationships with production teams to ensure alignment.
• Follows safety guidelines and maintains respirator-fit readiness; performs other duties as assigned.
