Job summary

MDS Staffing is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Tech in the Greater Green Bay area. This direct-hire role offers a baseline pay up to $29.50 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package, PTO, and ongoing training.

The position requires 4+ years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience (or an Associate's degree plus 2 years), a 45-minute commuting radius to Green Bay, and US work authorization. A structured, six-day block-off rotation supports work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology / Automated Systems OR 4+ years of hands-on industrial machinery breakdown experience.
• Drive & PLC literacy: Identifying/repairing faults in AC/DC drives and interacting with industrial PLC environments.
• Proven work history stability: max 2 employers over the last 5 years.
• 12-hour shift alignment: structured 12-hour rotating schedule including weekend coverage.
• Local commute: within 45-minute drive of Greater Green Bay, WI.
• Compliance & legal authorization: US citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card).

Responsibilities

• Execute Electro-Mechanical repairs across automated production machinery.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC motor drives and resolve faults in variable-speed systems and power controls.
• Trace PLC logic and electrical faults, isolate errors, and clear line stoppages.
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints to perform overhauls.
• Lead shift hand-offs and preventative maintenance routines.
• Travel occasionally (~2 days every other month) for regional training or goals.
