Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a high-volume manufacturing facility in New Jersey.

The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to maximize uptime and ensure safe, reliable operations. The technician will perform preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance, interpret P&ID and schematics, and collaborate with production staff and contractors to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least three years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing machinery.
Ability to read P&IDs, electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, equipment manuals, and machine layout drawings.
Experience in electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing, or food-manufacturing process controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC-related problems.
Complete or assist with major equipment overhauls, system rebuilds, and equipment installations.
Coordinate repairs with production personnel and outside contractors to minimize disruptions.
Safely operate forklifts, lifts, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance machinery.
Document completed work and equipment conditions in the CMMS.
Communicate repair status and follow-up needs electronically with maintenance and production teams.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized maintenance work areas.
Follow GMP requirements, safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory standards.
