Job summary

EAS Direct Hire is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a high-volume manufacturing facility in New Jersey on the 3rd shift. This hands-on role focuses on keeping production equipment running and safe.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC systems, perform preventive maintenance, and document work in the CMMS. Strong communication with production and contractors is essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least three years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
Ability to read P&IDs, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
Experience in electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing, or food-manufacturing process controls.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC-related problems.
Coordinate with production personnel and outside contractors to minimize downtime.
Document completed work, equipment conditions, and maintenance activities in the CMMS.
Safely operate forklifts and maintenance tools; follow GMP and safety procedures.
