Job summary

EAS Direct Hire is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a high-volume manufacturing facility in New Jersey. This hands-on role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to maximize uptime and ensure safe operations on the 3rd shift.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience, can read P&IDs and electrical/mechanical diagrams, and can prioritize multiple tasks while coordinating with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and mechanical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related problems.
• Complete major equipment overhauls, system rebuilds, and equipment installations as needed.
• Coordinate repairs with production and outside contractors to minimize downtime.
• Safely operate forklifts, power tools, and maintenance equipment; document work in the CMMS.
