Job summary

EAS Direct Hire is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a high-volume manufacturing facility in New Jersey. This hands-on role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to maximize uptime and maintain safe operations.

The position requires experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, the ability to read complex diagrams, and willingness to work third shift and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least three years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC-related issues.
• Coordinate repairs with production and contractors to minimize downtime.
