Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead mechanical maintenance at the Metairie plant. You will oversee a team of technicians, ensure preventive maintenance, and drive safe, compliant operations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in heavy industry electrical & instrumentation, plus strong experience with SAP, Excel, Project and AutoCAD. A Associate degree is required and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or years of equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Field of Study: Industrial Maintenance.
• 5 years heavy industry electrical & instrumentation experience.
• Proficiency with SAP, Excel, Word, Project, AutoCAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, schedule, and oversee daily preventive/repair maintenance activities.
• Supervise, train, and develop maintenance staff to achieve department goals.
• Maintain records and paperwork including SAP time entry, notifications, orders, etc.
• Evaluate and resolve problems affecting overall equipment efficiency.
• Assist in preparing recommendations for capital expenditures and budget.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of parts and materials.
