Job summary

Sonoco Products Company in Beavercreek, OH seeks an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician to enhance plant reliability by performing proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repairs across mechanical, electrical, robotic/automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.

You will document activities in CMMS, support safety initiatives, participate in continuous improvement, and collaborate with Operations to minimize unplanned downtime while meeting quality and

Qualifications

• High school diploma; vocational focus preferred.
• Mechatronics/Industrial Maintenance education preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical schematics and PLC logic.
• Experience with diverse maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, robotic/automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.
• Perform proactive maintenance and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Document all maintenance in CMMS and drive safety improvements.
• Support continuous improvement and 5S housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with operations to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
