Job summary
KIK Consumer Products is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic on 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:30pm, Monday-Friday with weekends as needed) to ensure reliability of machinery in a high-speed manufacturing environment. The role focuses on diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications
- Two+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in high-speed packaging, manufacturing, chemical-processing, or similar industrial environment.
- Experience working with PLC-controlled systems and troubleshooting PLC-based equipment and control systems.
- Strong understanding of safety practices including lockout/tagout, confined space, hazard communication, and PPE.
Responsibilities
- Identify, diagnose, and repair equipment with minimal supervision.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and basic automation systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections; document work in CMMS.
- Support chlorine handling and chemical-processing operations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Controls, and Operations to resolve control-system issues.
