Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Mount Pleasant, IA is seeking a Maintenance Associate for 2nd shift to perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on manufacturing machinery. The role requires diagnosing root causes across hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC systems, with responsibilities including preventive maintenance, equipment operation, and parts coordination.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and typically 5 years of related maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or recognized equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years related maintenance experience.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical components and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled and emergency maintenance on manufacturing machinery and PLCs.
• Diagnose root cause of problems and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components.
• Perform routine, predictive and preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Operate and maintain motorized equipment and forklifts.
• Coordinate parts inventory and order replacements with MRO and purchasing.
