Insteel Industries, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a multi-craft maintenance team responsible for setting up, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment across a heavy manufacturing environment.

The role focuses on optimizing plant utilization, overseeing safety, and driving CMMS workflows while coordinating with other supervisors and departments to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Leadership in a maintenance environment (7+ years preferred)
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Experience with lean manufacturing practices
• Knowledge of industrial electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Strong communication and coaching skills to develop staff

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for machinery and equipment
• Lead dismantling, assembling, and installation of industrial systems
• Manage mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance tasks
• Diagnose malfunctions and optimize production schedules
• Oversee CMMS MAXIMO and safety practices across the department
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with other supervisors
