Insteel Industries, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and equipment across our manufacturing facilities. You will support the Maintenance Manager and plant teams, performing diagnostic tasks and following safety protocols to uphold reliability.

Responsibilities include operating basic tools, lubrication, preventive maintenance, reading blueprints, and assisting with component replacements to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Technical training in manufacturing maintenance is required.
• Minimum of 2 years mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read micrometers and gauges.
• Familiarity with basic safety and LOTO procedures.
• Experience operating standard shop tools and measuring instruments.

Responsabilités

• Meet safety training requirements including being certified an “authorized person” in LOTO.
• Operate basic hand and power tools.
• Lubrication of equipment and preventive maintenance checks.
• Read blueprints and perform basic repairs on machinery.
• Assist in repairing machinery and replacing components as needed.
