Alsco Uniforms in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform preventive and specialized maintenance of the facility and its equipment. The role emphasizes automation, control systems, and compliant operational practices within an industrial laundry environment.

You will collaborate across plant teams, document repairs via a PM system, and ensure safe, cost-effective operation including wastewater and power plant equipment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• Training in plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC or welding.
• Boiler operator license and wastewater certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager, Production Management team, and other key operational partners to support facility operations.
• Use a computerized Preventive Maintenance (PM) program daily to document repairs, complete maintenance activities, and respond promptly to equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with an emphasis on automation and control systems.
• Maintain compliance with operational, safety, and environmental requirements by completing safety training, recording and retaining required documentation, supporting wastewater compliance, and maintaining computerized maintenance records.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and infrastructure to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
