Job summary

Kuraray is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for end users, IT infrastructure, applications, and manufacturing systems. This role covers both office and plant-floor technology with strong troubleshooting across Windows, M365, networking, hardware, software, and OT integrations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years IT support experience, preferably in manufacturing, and can support both traditional IT and plant-floor technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of IT infrastructure, desktop, application, or technical support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (client/server).
• Microsoft 365 administration and support experience.
• Networking fundamentals, wired/wireless networks, and VoIP.
• Experience with Active Directory and user access administration.
• Familiarity with cloud-based and on-premise apps/infrastructure.
• Ability to train and support users across departments.
• Manufacturing or industrial IT support experience preferred.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+ or Microsoft/Cisco are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and software.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and applications; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Support Windows client/server environments, Microsoft 365, cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
• Resolve IT incidents, service requests, and system changes with minimal business disruption.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding and access provisioning.
• Administrate Active Directory accounts and access permissions.
• Deploy software updates, patches, and backups; maintain asset inventory.
• Support security, encryption, and device compliance; assist with OT integration.
• Troubleshoot server OS and applications; assist with outage restoration.
• Support wired/wireless networks and VoIP; ensure connectivity and performance.
• Maintain plant-floor IT support for MES/SCADA/LIMS; work with OT teams.
• Provide user training and create technical guides.
