Ideal candidates are customer-focused, detail-oriented, with 1–2 years in admin, customer service, or B2B environments, and a willingness to grow into a commission-based sales role.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, inside sales, or a B2B industrial environment preferred.
• Experience in the piping industry is highly desirable, particularly with flanges, valves, actuators, or related industrial products.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, drafting, or reading technical drawings is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• A willingness to learn technical products, manufacturing processes, and industry terminology.

Responsibilities

• Order Processing: Enter, review, track, and confirm customer purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment of custom and special-order products.
• Quote Preparation: Assist Account Managers with preparing customer quotes, pricing estimates, product specifications, and sales documentation.
• Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email regarding orders, delivery schedules, product specifications, and other sales-related questions.
• Technical Product Knowledge: Learn the company's products, including flanges and related piping components, as well as industry terminology and technical specifications.
• Internal Coordination: Work closely with sales, operations, manufacturing, inventory, and warehouse teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on schedule.
• Order Tracking: Monitor order status, communicate updates, and help resolve discrepancies or delays.
• Sales Team Support: Provide administrative and organizational support to the sales team while developing the skills needed for future sales responsibilities.
• Candidates must be able to successfully complete the required background review, physical examination, and drug screening.
