Job summary

Primary Services in Houston is seeking an Inside Sales Account Representative to accelerate growth in B2B industrial sales. You will prepare quotations, process orders, maintain supplier relationships, and support pricing decisions while coordinating with internal teams.

You should have 2+ years in inside sales or account management, experience with CRM and Excel, and a background in steel or industrial materials is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in inside sales, sales support, or account management.
• Experience supporting B2B sales, including customer quotations, order processing, and account coordination.
• Familiarity with pricing, supplier communication, and customer relationship management.
• Experience managing multiple customer accounts, sales orders, and follow-up activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience using sales order management systems, CRM platforms, or related business software preferred.
• Experience in the steel industry preferred, including steel products, industrial materials, or related distribution environments.
• Experience working with manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, or industrial customers preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred.
• Spanish or Japanese language proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and follow up on customer quotations across multiple industrial product lines.
• Process sales orders and coordinate order requirements with customers and suppliers.
• Support pricing analysis and negotiations to maintain competitive offerings and profitability.
• Manage customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, order status, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and suppliers to support ongoing sales activity.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain product information, pricing, and delivery updates.
• Monitor competitor products and market pricing to support sales strategies.
• Track customer orders, quotations, and follow-up activities to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist with new customer development and business-to-business sales opportunities.
• Coordinate customer-specific inventory requirements and product availability.
• Maintain accurate sales records, customer information, and order documentation.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to support account growth and customer satisfaction.
