Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking an Instrumentation-Electrical (I&E) Technician to diagnose and repair instrument and electrical systems, including PLCs, DCS, and motors. The role covers troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, wiring equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety and compliance with codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in industrial electrical/electronic technology.
• Five years of instrumentation-electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read/interpret electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, instrumentation drawings and schematics.
• Demonstrated knowledge of PLCs and CNCs.
• Knowledge of 480 Volt MCC and Power Distribution Systems.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot critical equipment upon failure.
• Troubleshoot AC and DC Electronics.
• Read/interpret Electrical, Electronic, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Instrumentation drawings.
