AdvanSix is seeking an Instrument Mechanic to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and control systems in a fast-paced industrial environment. The role requires PLC/DCS knowledge, ability to read P&ID’s and schematics, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualificações

Associates Degree in Instrumentation.
2 years of experience in Instrumentation and Controls installation, troubleshooting and repair in a Chemical Plant, Refinery, or similar Industrial environment.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of instrumentation design, selection, repair techniques and performance assessment.

Responsabilidades

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation and control systems.
Maintain PLC/DCS and related automation equipment.
Calibrate instruments and document PM activities.
Interface with equipment manufacturers, specialists, and technical support.
Update maintenance documentation for critical plant equipment.
Provide daily support to plant operations for 24/7 uptime.
Read manuals, schematics, and P&ID’s.
Willing to work overtime when required.
