Job summary

Taurus Industrial Group, LLC is seeking an E&I Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems in an industrial setting. The role covers configuration of PLCs, SCADA, VFD drives, motor controls, and HMIs, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

The candidate will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and maintain detailed records, supporting projects and plant shutdowns as needed. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade/vocational training or associate degree in Electrical/Electronics preferred.
• Certifications such as OSHA, NCCER, E&I, ISA, TWIC, NVQ, or equivalents depending on requirements.
• Experience with electrical and instrumentation systems including PLCs, SCADA, VFDs, and motor controls.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure electrical and instrumentation systems including PLCs, SCADA, VFDs, and motor controls.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, calibrate instruments, and keep maintenance records.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
