Walmart is seeking a Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration, to install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems across commercial/industrial sites. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The role involves coordinating with teams, on-call rotations, and safe operation of company vehicles. Experience with building codes, schematics, and EPA refrigerant handling is required, along with appropriate HVAC/R

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
• 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field.
• Hold and maintains Type I and Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• HVAC-R/ Mechanical Journeyman where required.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record requirements within the last five years.

Responsabilités

• Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork, control panels, and building pneumatics.
• Interpret layout plans and schematics to ensure accurate system setup and compliance with building codes.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues in commercial and industrial systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair refrigeration units such as racks, walk-ins, and reach-ins.
• Conduct inspections and repairs following federal, state, and local HVAC/R regulations and safety protocols.
• Manage service calls, coordinate with external providers, and document refrigerant usage accurately.
• Operate company vehicles safely to complete service assignments within assigned regions.
