Job summary

Walmart is seeking a skilled USA-based HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems across commercial facilities. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while supporting on-call needs.

The role involves leading field teams, coordinating service calls, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R field experience in commercial or industrial settings.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• EPA 608 refrigerant handling certification.
• HVAC-R journeyman as applicable.
• Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
• Strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration systems per codes and specs.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on units, walk-ins, reach-ins, and racks.
• Conduct inspections following OSHA/EPA protocols.
• Lead and mentor field teams and promote safety practices.
• Manage service calls and coordinate with external providers.
• Operate company vehicles safely within regions.
