• HVAC/R certification and 2 years' experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
• Option 2: 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field.
• Hold and maintains Type I and Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency certification for refrigerant handling.

Responsibilities

• Install and service commercial HVAC/R systems, including ductwork and controls.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.
• Read blueprints and schematics to ensure proper setup.
• Maintain safety and EPA 608 refrigerant handling compliance.
• Lead on-site teams and mentor apprentices.
