Kodiak Gas Services LLC is seeking an intermediate level Field Technician to manage one or more compressor packages, gas processes, and rental equipment. You will troubleshoot, perform repairs, and support operations while maintaining strong customer relations and adherence to HSE procedures.

The role requires 3+ years in compression/related fields, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Kodiak’s SSE program preferred.
• 3+ years total compression process, production, and equipment experience.
• 1–2 years in an entry level Field Technician role preferred.
• Certifications: Cat, Waukesha, or Ariel preferred; valid driver’s license with clean MVR.

Responsabilités

• Directs, coordinates, and performs job activities per Kodiak procedures to meet goals.
• Troubleshoots complex repairs and major equipment overhauls; supports field teams.
• Backfills and assists other field positions as needed.
• Builds and maintains customer relationships and communicates with Supply Chain on parts and inventory.
• Strives for 98% or better mechanical availability; takes corrective actions as required.
• Attends HSE meetings and adheres to HSE protocols.
• Maintains units in clean, presentable condition and completes required reports.
• Provides 24/7 coverage; overtime and on-call rotations included; participates in additional tasks.
