Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is looking for an entry-level field technician to assist in running compression jobs and operating compressor packages. The role includes feedback for operating policies, training opportunities, and potential involvement in fleet support.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintaining equipment, and ensuring 98% or better mechanical availability. Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic English, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some knowledge of gas processes and compressor machinery preferred.
• Completion of Kodiak SSE program or related training is advantageous.
• 1 year of compression, production, or equipment-related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in line with Kodiak procedures and safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and build skills through on-the-job training.
• Attend HSE meetings and follow all safety protocols.
• Analyze job parts and inventory to communicate needs to Supply Chain.
• Maintain customer relationships and provide reliable service.
• Strive for 98% or better mechanical availability of equipment.
• Keep units clean and properly maintained.
• Complete required reports and operate per procedures.
• Support 24/7 coverage and participate in on-call rotations.
