SSOE is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Industrial Facilities Design projects, coordinating architecture and engineering teams from planning through startup. The role demands strong leadership, client engagement, and strategic delivery across major capital industrial initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture, or four years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 8+ years of experience in the design industry preferred, with 5+ years as a Project Manager in an engineering or construction organization.
• Managing the design of major capital industrial projects within an engineering or architecture firm is required.
• Experience in automotive plants projects is highly desired.
• Strong capabilities with building and maintaining client relationships and understanding of engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for multidisciplinary project teams from planning through completion.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and strategic stakeholders.
• Develop project execution plans, resource strategies, and delivery approaches.
• Align scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk management objectives.
• Facilitate change management and commercial negotiations.
• Monitor financial performance, invoicing, forecasting, and cash flow.
• Manage contracts for consultants and external service providers.
• Drive communication, accountability, and collaboration among stakeholders.
• Mentor project managers and support project delivery excellence.
• Travel as necessary for client and project engagement.
