Job summary

SSOE is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our Industrial Facilities Design team, directing planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale facilities for global industry leaders. From concept through startup, you will coordinate architecture and engineering teams ensuring high-tech, mission-critical outputs.

You will balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and client expectations while driving innovation and growth in a dynamic, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or 4 years’ experience in lieu of a degree.
• 8+ years in design industry; 5+ years as a Project Manager.
• Design of major capital industrial projects in an engineering or architecture firm is required.
• Automotive plants and industrial/manufacturing project experience highly desired.
• Strong contract management, pre-design, pre-construction, renovations, demolition, new construction, building systems knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; client-facing and business development experience.
• Ability to travel to project locations; valid driver’s license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for multidisciplinary project teams from planning through completion.
• Serve as trusted advisor to clients and strategic stakeholders.
• Develop project execution plans, resource strategies, and delivery approaches.
• Align scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk management objectives.
• Facilitate change management and commercial negotiations.
• Monitor financial performance, invoicing, forecasting, and cash flow.
• Manage contracts for consultants and external service providers.
• Drive communication, accountability, and collaboration among stakeholders.
• Mentor project managers and support project delivery excellence.
• Travel as necessary for client and project engagement.
