Job summary

SSOE is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Industrial Facilities Design team in the US. You will lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale industrial and advanced manufacturing facilities for global leaders, directing multidisciplinary teams from concept through startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• 8+ years of design industry experience, with 5+ years as a Project Manager.
• Experience managing major capital industrial projects in an engineering/architecture consulting firm.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for multidisciplinary project teams from planning through completion.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and strategic stakeholders.
• Develop project execution plans, resource strategies, and delivery approaches.
• Align scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk management objectives.
• Facilitate change management and commercial negotiations.
• Monitor financial performance, invoicing, forecasting, and cash flow.
• Manage contracts for consultants and external service providers.
• Drive communication, accountability, and collaboration among stakeholders.
• Mentor project managers and support project delivery excellence.
• Support business development, pursuits, presentations, qualifications, and fee proposals.
• Travel as necessary for client and project engagement.
