Job summary

Meritas Advisory Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager for large-scale industrial EPC electrical or mechanical construction in Houston. The role requires onsite work at our Houston facility with 70% travel and provides per diem.

You will lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, manage budgets, schedules, and teams, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical, mechanical, industrial, utility, or EPC construction with significant financial and operational responsibility.
• Demonstrated success leading multimillion-dollar electrical or mechanical construction projects in large-scale environments.
• Strong knowledge in electrical or mechanical construction disciplines and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and accountability for the execution of large-scale electrical, mechanical, or industrial construction projects.
• Manage project financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, cash flow, profitability, and risk mitigation.
• Direct and coordinate project teams, field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to meet objectives and schedules.
• Develop relationships with clients and stakeholders, serving as primary contact for performance, negotiations, and planning.
• Oversee scheduling, procurement, labor productivity, and resource allocation for project success.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and project specifications.
• Mentor and develop project managers and engineers for ongoing growth.
