Job summary

Confident Search Consultants in Houston is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical or mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This onsite role requires 70% travel with per diem provided and oversight across clients, exec leadership, field operations, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical, mechanical, industrial, utility, or EPC construction.
• At least 5 years managing large-scale construction projects with financial and operational responsibility.
• Experience leading multimillion-dollar projects in data centers, oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial plants.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for large-scale electrical, mechanical, or industrial construction projects end‑to‑end.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, cash flow, change management, and profitability.
• Direct teams, superintendents, field crews, subs, and vendors to align with plans and contracts.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders; lead negotiations and issue resolution.
• Oversee scheduling, procurement, labor productivity, materials, and resource allocation.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA, codes, quality standards, and contractual specs.
• Coach and mentor project managers and engineers; drive process improvements.
