Job summary

SMP Automotive System Alabama Inc. in Alabama is seeking an Industrial Engineer to standardize production and drive project implementations. You will support material flow planning, workplace design, and the development of production layouts to optimize manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Engineering or related field.
• Project management experience.
• Lean Manufacturing / TPS / Poka-yoke knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Material flow planning with logistics.
• Workplace design with HQ/Ergonomics.
• Create Value Stream Maps and production layouts.
• Develop and introduce new techniques.
• Design customer articles for production.
