Job summary

Torrey Holistics is hiring for an in-person, full-time maintenance technician in Naperville, IL. You will install, configure and troubleshoot sensors, PLCs, servos and HMI interfaces across 480V power systems.

The role includes ladder-logic programming, safety procedures, and preventive maintenance on conveyors and production equipment. The ideal candidate has PLC experience, servo systems familiarity and a background in packaging equipment within manufacturing.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Demonstrated experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and servo systems.
Experience with computerized maintenance systems preferred.
Experience with packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Thorough understanding of manufacturing safety procedures (lockout/tagout, confined spaces, PPE, etc.) preferred.
Proficient with electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

Install, configure and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC I/O modules and related wiring.
Provide troubleshooting for analog and digital controls with 480V, 3-phase power, motors, VFDs, servo drives and soft starts.
Maintain and troubleshoot encoders and load cells; program PLC and HMI interfaces; modify PLC control logic in ladder logic.
Troubleshoot and diagnose communication protocols including Profibus, serial and industrial Ethernet.
Diagnose and perform preventive maintenance on Laser Guided Vehicles, conveyors and production equipment.
