Job summary
Torrey Holistics is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support 2nd or 3rd shift operations in our Illinois facility. The role focuses on PLCs, servo systems, HMIs, and robust electrical controls within a manufacturing setting.
You will install, configure, troubleshoot and program PLCs and related hardware, work with Profibus and industrial Ethernet, and perform preventive maintenance on conveyors and laser-guided equipment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- PLC programming experience required.
- Experience with packaging equipment preferred.
- Strong safety procedure knowledge (LOTO, PPE) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC I/O modules and wiring.
- Troubleshoot analog/digital controls on 480V 3-phase systems, motors, VFDs, servo drives.
- Maintain encoders and load cells; program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces.
- Diagnose and repair equipment using electrical schematics and fault isolation.
- Perform preventive maintenance on Laser Guided Vehicles and conveyors.
