Job summary

HireReady Partners in Oklahoma City is seeking an Electrical Technician to join our maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role installs, troubleshoots, and maintains industrial electrical systems, PLC-controlled equipment, motors, drives, and automated production machinery, with safety as a priority and a focus on maximizing equipment reliability and minimizing downtime.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong PLC knowledge and programming capability.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Install, wire, and upgrade industrial electrical systems and automated controls.
• Troubleshoot and program PLC systems, including Allen-Bradley 500 and 5000 platforms.
• Install, maintain, and repair AC/DC drives, motors, control panels, relays, and electrical components.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
• Conduct root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain electrical spare parts inventory and communicate replenishment needs.
• Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), OSHA, and company safety procedures.
