Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Electrician for on-site work in Lake Orion, MI. This 2nd shift role focuses on maintaining and repairing electrical systems across large manufacturing facilities, reading schematics, and following strict safety standards.

You will document work in the CMMS and collaborate with maintenance teams to keep operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 2 years of electrical training, plus a Journeyman license or equivalent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state equivalent required.
• Two years of electrical trade schooling or apprenticeship.
• Journeyman license or equivalent industrial electrical certification.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical/instrumentation/control systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/instrumentation/control building equipment and systems in large manufacturing facilities.
• Plan and execute assembly, installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of electrical apparatus and power distribution systems.
• Diagnose and correct faulty wiring or electrical difficulties by reading blueprints and diagrams.
• Anticipate problems and take proactive actions to maximize facility uptime.
• Document all work in CMMS with hours and completion details by deadlines.
• Interact with clients and maintenance staff to ensure safe, compliant approaches.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and adhere to all safety rules.
