Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) in Pontiac, MI is seeking a 2nd Shift Journeyman Electrician to maintain and repair electrical infrastructure at an automotive production facility. You will troubleshoot, install, and service high- and low-voltage systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70E and safety standards.

The role requires a valid Journeyman card (MI or UAW) or equivalent license, 2+ years of experience, and ability to work outdoors in various weather.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Michigan or UAW Journeyman's Card (or equivalent license) is required.
• Valid state driver''s license in good standing is required.
• Minimum 2 years of electrical trade experience.
• Solid understanding of NFPA 70E standards and ability to work on energized equipment with Arc Flash PPE.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and alter electrical services, equipment, and controls.
• Work with high- and low-voltage systems to diagnose problems and perform repairs per NFPA 70E.
• Operate indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions while following safety protocols.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment and report unsafe conditions.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and test instruments and ensure proper tool maintenance.
• Coordinate with supervision and assist other trades as needed.

Skills

2+ years electrical trade experience

NFPA 70E knowledge

Arc Flash PPE experience

Education
