Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across large manufacturing facilities. You will work in a dynamic, safety‑driven environment to maximize uptime and support preventive maintenance programs.

The role requires reading blueprints and wiring diagrams, OSHA/code knowledge, and readiness for call‑in work, overtime, and weekend shifts at Lake Orion, MI. Union affiliation and CBA terms apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state equivalent.
• Two years of electrical trade schooling or equivalent training.
• Journeyman license or equivalent certification, or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and local electrical codes.
• Able to work in confined spaces and be available for call‑in work, overtime, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/instrumentation/control systems for large manufacturing facilities.
• Plan and execute installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and power distribution.
• Diagnose wiring issues from blueprints and diagrams and implement fixes.
• Proactively identify electrical problems to maximize facility uptime and safety.
• Document work in CMMS with hours and details by deadline.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff and clients to follow safe, compliant approaches.
