Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Union Electrician for the 2nd shift at our Lake Orion, MI facility. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing industrial electrical systems within a large-scale manufacturing environment, with emphasis on safety, documentation in CMMS, and collaboration with maintenance and client operations.

The ideal candidate will have a Journeyman license (or equivalent) with experience reading blueprints and a solid knowledge of OSHA codes, ready for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state equivalent.
• Two years of electrical trade schooling or equivalent.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and local electrical codes.
• Able to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy loads.
• Available for call-in 24 hours and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/instrumentation/control systems in large manufacturing facilities.
• Plan and install electrical apparatus and power distribution systems including panels, drives, breakers, transformers, and alarms.
• Diagnose faulty wiring and read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Document work in CMMS with hours and completion details.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and client operations on safe approaches.
• Keep work areas clean and comply with safety rules and regulations.
