Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is seeking an Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across large‑scale manufacturing facilities in Lake Orion, MI. This hands‑on role emphasizes reliability of industrial power distribution and instrumentation, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will read blueprints and diagrams, perform preventive maintenance, document work in CMMS, and coordinate with maintenance teams and client operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state equivalent.
• Two years of electrical trade schooling or equivalent training.
• Journeyman license or equivalent certification, or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical/instrumentation/control systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and local electrical codes.
• Physically able to operate hand tools, ladders; work in confined spaces.
• Available for call-in work 24 hours per day and willing to overtime.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/instrumentation/control systems in large facilities.
• Plan and execute installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and distribution systems.
• Diagnose faulty wiring and read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Anticipate problems and take proactive actions to protect assets.
• Document all work in CMMS with hours and completion details.
• Interact with clients and maintenance staff to ensure safe approaches.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and comply with safety rules.
