Job summary

JLL is seeking a Maintenance Electrician on 2nd shift to ensure safe, reliable operation of electrical and mechanical systems across our Michigan facilities, including Romulus, Westland and surrounding sites.

You will troubleshoot electrical issues, maintain HVAC, refrigeration, pumps and building controls, perform preventive maintenance, read schematics, and document activities for compliance. A valid MI Journeyman license and 2+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years of trades schooling in electrical systems, refrigeration and HVAC.
• Active Michigan State Electrical Journeyman License (or higher) is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance and troubleshooting in industrial settings.
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Computer literacy including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical controls, switching systems, motor controls, and wiring.
• Run conduit, pull wiring to machinery and diagnose malfunctions efficiently.
• Repair and maintain refrigeration, HVAC, boilers and related building systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document readings for compliance.
• Install pumps, motors, air compressors and replace bearings and seals as needed.
• Support safe handling of hazardous materials and keep a clean workspace.
