Amteck is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial/manufacturing environments. The role emphasizes safety, NFPA 70B/NETA standards, and reliability of power distribution and motor controls.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, strong knowledge of electrical systems, and the ability to travel extensively.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
Strong understanding of electrical theory and power distribution.
Ability to develop preventive maintenance strategies.
Proficient with electrical tools, diagnostic instruments, and testing equipment.
Familiarity with arc-flash safety and NFPA 70E.
Knowledge of NEC and OSHA/NFPA 70E safety standards.
Experience in scheduling and reporting maintenance activities.
Ability to travel up to 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing according to NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults.
Inspect electrical components and connections for wear or damage.
Service electrical equipment to ensure performance and longevity.
Test power distribution systems, controls, and motors.
Assess equipment conditions and maintenance risks.
Follow LOTO and arc-flash safety procedures; support EHS initiatives.
Maintain documentation of inspections, tests, actions, and recommendations.
Proactively identify and mitigate issues to minimize downtime and cost.
