Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specifications, and NETA standards while supporting uptime and safety across critical equipment.

The role involves servicing power distribution equipment, motors, controls and related components, with a focus on reliability, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

Experience with industrial electrical maintenance in manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of NFPA 70B, OSHA, NFPA 70E safety standards.
Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and testing on electrical systems and equipment per NFPA 70B and OEM specs.
Identify and diagnose faults via infrared thermography and diagnostic tools.
Inspect wiring, components and connections for wear or damage; perform repairs as needed.
Lubricate and service equipment to ensure proper performance and longevity.
Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, tests, and actions; communicate findings to team and customers.
