Job summary

Amteck is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards while maintaining reliability and safety of facility electrical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance in manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of NEC rules and electrical safety standards.
• Ability to develop preventive maintenance strategies aligned with standards.
• Proficient with diagnostic instruments and testing equipment.
• Ability to read construction drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and NETA.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults.
• Inspect wiring, components, and equipment for wear or damage.
• Service electrical equipment to ensure performance and longevity.
• Test power distribution systems, controls, and motors.
• Assess conditions and plan maintenance improvements.
• Apply LOTO, arc-flash safety, and safety studies.
• Support EHS initiatives and safe work practices.
• Document inspections, tests, and corrective actions.
• Communicate findings to customers and team members.
• Enforce site safety requirements and prevent incidents.
