Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. The role emphasizes safety, NFPA 70B compliance, and reliability of power distribution equipment, motors, and controls.

You will conduct infrared thermography, visual inspections, and testing to ensure uptime and safety, while following company safety programs and documenting findings for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong understanding of power distribution and NEC/NFPA 70E.
• Experience with arc-flash safety and preventive maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify abnormal heat and faults.
• Inspect electrical components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage.
• Lubricate and service electrical equipment for reliability.
• Test power distribution systems, control equipment, and motors to verify operation.
