Qualifications

• Ideally 5+ years in an industrial electrical maintenance setting.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial electrical installations.
• Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies.
• High proficiency with electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Strong computer proficiency for reports and data management.
• Knowledge of arc‑flash safety and related protocols.
• Familiarity with NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and NETA standards.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify abnormal heat and faults.
• Inspect electrical components for wear, contamination, or damage.
• Clean, lubricate, and service electrical equipment for reliability.
• Test power distribution, controls, and motors for proper function.
• Assess equipment condition and maintenance risks to reduce downtime.
• Apply safety procedures including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.
• Support EHS initiatives and integrate safe work practices.
• Document inspections, tests, corrective actions, and recommendations.
• Communicate findings to customers, supervisors and team members.
• Enforce company safety program and site-specific requirements.
